A special place

Many years ago, I got into the habit of going up to Puig de la Moneda (Valldemossa) to enjoy the sunset. There was something magical about this place for me, and it became a kind of temple I would go to every week, to meditate and find a little peace in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life.

An amitious dream

During one of these meditation sessions, a thought suddenly came into my mind: I wanted to live there. As I always do when I want something really badly, I asked Ganesha (a Hindu deity who helps you in your projects and removes obstacles) to enable me to find a home in my favourite place on the island: Valldemossa.

A wish come true

Not long after, thanks to the energy of Ganesha, I was presented with the opportunity: I found the perfect plot of land in the George Sand residential development, next to Puig de la Moneda. The hardest part was done, and from that moment on I worked with an architect to create the house I myself had imagined.

A treasure to be shared

The first being to inhabit Can Ganesha was Missy, my cat. She found a home there, when it was no more than a building site, and she has been there ever since. The next one was me, Gonzalo. And now, after so much effort, I enjoy sharing it with people from all over the world who want to wind down.

A way of life

Can Ganesha was designed and created for a single purpose: to serve as a refuge from the stress of everyday life. Honouring that philosophy and Ganesha, the house draws from Asian luxury, with Hindu and Buddhist influences. And it contains a host of nooks and crannies where anyone staying there can relax and rest their mind.
